Is There Such A Thing As A Partial Payment?

Yes, although the term isn’t an official one in the structured settlement industry. Still, there is a situation in which you can sell your rights to a partial amount of your future monthly payments.

If you’re receiving $500.00 a month from your structured settlement, you can sell the rights to any portion of that monthly payment you want, and for as many payments as you want. Sell half your rights for 12 months. You receive a lump sum of $3,000.00 to pay off debt or make a purchase of some sort, and you still receive a monthly payment of $250.00 for the next 12 months. When the 12 months are up your monthly payment returns to the original $500.00.
